I like it, it's thematic.I had the same issue and although the responses here are correct, I figured I'd try to give my own version for those who are still confused after reading the posts above :).Also I don't think I've ever actually seen her do the card delete attack during her execution variant, or at least I wasn't paying enough attention if she has. I've survived that variation of the sweep like once without any looping shenanigans. Fun Fact - Her sword sweep attack was also something she did in 1.4 after you destroy the Gate, though she'd follow it up immediately with a whole-field sword nuke on your side (now she just cuts straight to the field nuke).Also the Excalibur slash is centered on Serif herself, btw. A lot of her patterns are to some extent RNG, so be wary. Much of it's to just pay attention to whatever she throw at you.The neutral ground rule leads to Serif forcing you to one side or the other, and then back again, and then back again regularly, thus making field-control or self-endangerment loadouts/cards (Break or Prophecy for example) much risker since you can easily hit yourself or get in a bad spot further down the line.Shopkeeper loadouts tend to experience way more power creep than other loadouts (yeah I know "power creep" is reserved more for games like Hearthstone but it's still true here), which makes it reasonable to just go ahead and obliterate Serif in the process of trying one out. Usually I'll go do an execution run with Shopkeeper or a loadout that I'm really familiar with cough Teardown and Bullet Hell, the former more just if it's a modded loadout.Serif has large AoE attacks to match the enlarged field. How does this impact your playstyle or choice to take cards that move you forward or only hit a certain distance? The lesson here is that if you're a mass murderer, you can seek redemption through time loops, but if you spared some people on the way, you'll get executed.Īll 32 tiles can be traversed freely. If the player does not have Yami or does not use it in time, they begin a new loop. If the player has Yami, their Max HP is set to 9999 (including if it was higher) and they can use Yami to execute Serif and obtain the True Genocide end. At low health, she may repeat this attack. Serif rains down 3 shots that split twice and hit their adjacent tiles when splitting, similar to Glitterstorm. Serif equips swords of light that damage the column she's in and charges left or right in the player's direction, stopping one column before the edge of the grid. Serif can summon Light Bombs, 40hp structures that fire shots in the four cardinal directions when destroyed. Serif cannot be hurt until the move is finished, but status effects can be inflicted. ![]() Serif starts off the battle by turning the field gray which allows the player to walk on the right half of the field and they will automatically turn and face Serif.
